Points to Ponder week of 9/26

This Sunday is the last in our series on the “I Am” statements of Jesus. In John 15 Jesus says, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.” His focus here is overwhelmingly on Himself as the source and cause of every good fruit through a person’s life. In talking about this He makes it clear that fruitfulness is what the Father desires. What does He mean by fruit?  In the different areas of your life, how are you “abiding” in Jesus, the Vine? Are you bearing fruit that glorifies the Father? We’ll talk about it on Sunday!
