How It Began
Blue Ridge Community Church began in September 1998 as a church plant out of Christ Community Church in Charlottesville. As BRCC has grown, we have chosen to plant new churches rather than remaining one large church. As a result, we’ve planted two churches, one of which is in Earlysville, Rivanna Community Church.
Our church property was formerly a camp, and we enjoy plenty of space for activities outdoors, including walking trails, a basketball court, a picnic shelter, children's play equipment, gaga pit, a creek, and a gazebo.

Expanding the Vision
We want to reach people locally, regionally, and abroad with the saving love of Jesus Christ. As Jesus commanded, we want to make disciples who make disciples, believing that the Spirit of God will bring before us unique opportunities to grow His Kingdom.
Where We Are Headed
We believe the best way to reach more people is to reproduce ourselves. This is why we look to multiply ministries, leaders, small groups, and churches. With Jesus as our King, the Word as our guide, and the Spirit as our counselor, there is nothing that can stop the expansion of God's Kingdom.
