Leadership

Pastor Josh and his wife Hannah met at Elim Bible Institute where they attended from 2008-2011. They have a passion to see people grow as disciples of Jesus through their home and the Church. They have five children and have served as foster parents to other children. The Nuss family came to Blue Ridge in January of 2023 to help equip the church to love Jesus and make more disciples for Him.

Paige has an amazing gift for children and for encouraging volunteers. From writing curriculum to doing amazing children’s sermons, she is God’s gift to our kids. She and W.H. are a perfect couple; they are quintessential Greene County, salt of the earth kind of folks. 

Bill and Amber were college sweethearts and married right after they graduated. They have lived in four states as God, and career, moved them. In the process they have been raising five children. They moved to Virginia and started attending Blue Ridge in 2012. They are passionate about building God centered community, and encouraging families, children, and teens. 

Derek and Heather have been at BRCC for many years and have served in many helpful ways, including leading home groups for years. They have two children.  

Dan and Sandy were founding members of Blue Ridge. They have led home groups, planted a church, and now lead the Alpha ministry at BRCC. The Paynes are now grandparents.
